Jeff Walker is carved a niche for himself online as the go to guy for product launches.
He says he started with a list of 17 names for his first online business and grew it from there. Now he makes millions of dollars per year with his Product Launch Forumula which comes in at a hefty two thousand bucks. So what is it and is it worth it?
If you want to create a product for sale on the web then you can just stick it up and hope it sells (Hope Marketing) or create some sort of promotion process. I’ve actually done both, one site I put up there and worked on marketing it with daily actions (explained in my book Click and Grow Rich) and another one I created a launch process.
Before I go on, I should explain that few people who start out on a product such as PLF will complete it. Maybe around 6% in fact. I put this solely down to the fact that they think there is a quick way to online profits and once they get through a few videos they give up. If the 30 day refund period has expired by this time then they can’t get their money back.
In the PLF Jeff Walker goes into great detail on how to prepare a product for launch. There are several modules to complete and each module is made up from videos, exercises, examples and swipe files. I’ve done the entire PLF from start to finish. Some parts of it I personally felt were overlong and felt to me more filler than content, Jeff loves to talk.
Jeff covers several types of launch from seed, JV, quick, evergreen and so on. I’ve tested a few models for my 60 Days to CCNA IT training website. I open it every month for maybe 3 days and close it off again. This works really well for me. I launched this in January 2012 and by October 2012 it has made over $26,000.
Please bear in mind though that this wasn’t magic. I’ve spent time recording the actual content which took 2-3 months and then marketed it online via YouTube and other methods.
Bottom line – is PLF worth the $2,000 price tag? I’d say if you are going to put it to use and take the action then it is worth the money sure. Andy Jenkins VideoBoss course is better BUT they are two different things and one course doesn’t teach what the other does so do you have $4,000 to invest? I did but most people do not.
Have fun.

Pricy But Worth it.
This course has made me a small fortune but you will need to use other resources.
